After we photographed the Sandhill Cranes we headed off to Bisbee. We had lunch there and had a chance to do a little photography. Bisbee is an old mining town that appeared around 1880. Gold, Silver and Copper were the primary minerals that were mined. After the mining went away, Bisbee was reborn as an artists community and is well known for its Victorian architecture.
One of our first stops was the Superior Courthouse. One of the great features of the courthouse is the art deco entrance.
Bisbee's architecture is a fantastic subject for the illustrative type of photography that I enjoy. Below are a few examples.
Copper Queen Motel overlook.
Houses stacked on a hill.
More houses.
And my personal favorite, the Indian Motorcyle Add with the old vehicles out front.
